Her favorite book genre is Classic Literature and she is happiest when talking about Taylor Swift, hanging out with her dogs, and eating pasta. Her favorite game is The Sims because she can pretend she's an interior designer.
Cathy has been a content writer at Rough Maps since 2023. She has a BA in English Literature from the University of British Columbia and has always dreamed of becoming a writer. Her love for reading fueled her passion for writing, and she enjoys writing about topics like pop culture, film, travel, and personal experiences. As far as gaming goes, her favourite games include Stardew Valley, Teamfight Tactics, and OSU. She’ll love anything that has a cute and cozy vibe to it (especially games with 8 bit pixel art)!
Robbie has been with Rough Maps since 2019, first as a content writer and latterly as Director of Creative and Media. His essays and reports have been published in Maclean’s, Salon, The West End Phoenix and elsewhere. Robbie is a recipient of the Eugene Levy Writing Award, a three-time winner of the York University President’s Prize, and was the Humber Yuk Yuks Standup Champ in 2016. Robbie's first gaming console was an original PlayStation, which he still plays when he feels nostalgic. His all-time favourite game is Red Dead Redemption 2.
From Sega Master System to PS5, David, Landon and Steven have watched the evolution of gaming from the 90s until today.
